I like this book because it has twists, excitement, and it is very magical. My favourite part is probably when Gus starts to talk. It's also very funny. I would give this book 4 1/2 stars.
I found that this book had great expressions like 'yummo!' The chapter names were creative and I liked the cat's name—Gus. The best bit has a cake, but you have to read it to find out!
I loved the story Gus Makes a Fuss because of the characters and what they do. For example, when Gus the cat jumps out of the window, that was hilarious. It's cool how Gus can talk with Cassie and Lina.
